Concentration dependence of thermal isomerization process of methyl orange in ethanol [PDF]
The thermal isomerization (TI) rates of methyl orange (MO) and 4-dimethylaminoazobenzene (DMAAB) in ethanol (EtOH) are measured. Usually TI rates of azobenzene dyes are known to be concentration independent.

Reaction of Methyl Red and Methyl orange with mercuric salts
SUMMARYThe mercuration of methyl red and methyl orange with mercuric acetate, mercuric chloride, mer¬curic oxide, and mercuric iodide gave different mercurated products. Mercuration was found to occur predominantly in the orthoposition. The structure of these componuds were confirmed by IR, NMR, Mass spectra and micro Chemical analysis.

Membrane Filtration of Methyl Orange
In this work, the filtration of methyl orange by polyacrylonitrile-co-poly(2-ethylhexylacrylate) copolymer and polyacrylonitrile-co-poly(2-ethylhexylacrylate)/polyaniline membranes were utilized. It was observed that the filtration performance was improved as acrylonitrile amount in the copolymer increased.
