Free volume distribution of branched poly(methyl methacrylates): Conformational probes study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
© 2016 Elsevier B.V.In this work we studied the free volume distribution of the branched poly (methylmethacrylates) by the method of conformational probes. The freezing temperatures of the conformational transitions of the probes introduced into branched

FTIR spectroscopy of conformational probes introduced into fullerene-containing branched poly (methyl methacrylate) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper we consider the effect of fullerene on the local molecular dynamics of the branched poly (methylmethacrylates). The temperatures of the secondary relaxation transitions were determined by FTIR spectra.

Thermal modeling of polymerizing polymethylmethacrylate, considering temperature-dependent heat generation [PDF]

open access: yes
A methodology for the modeling of unsteady heat conduction in polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) during its exothermic polymerization is presented. The emphasis is on the formulation of a model for the volumetric rate of heat generation, including its ...

Al2O3 Ring Array by Infiltration Synthesis in Polystyrene Antidot Template

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Different morphologies, such as full dots for genuine PS‐b‐PMMA, residual dots for the PS antidot array (resulting from an Acetic Acid (AA) last PS‐b‐PMMA), and rings for the modified PS antidot array (derived from an O2 plasma last PS‐b‐PMMA), originated from SIS process in PS‐b‐PMMA BCP array, due to the different reaction sites for the TMA precursor

Percutaneous Deployment of the Sinus‐SuperFlex‐DS Stent for Hybrid Stage I Palliation in Neonates Weighing ≤ 2.5 kg: A Multicenter Study

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Hybrid stage I palliation (HS1P) has developed as an alternative to the Norwood stage I palliation for neonates with hypoplastic left heart and related left‐sided obstructive lesions. HS1P is currently used in various clinical settings, such as single ventricle palliation, bridge to decision, bridge to biventricular repair, or ...
