Effect of Stage of Growth on Metribuzin Tolerance

Weed Science, 1976
Six species of Solanaceae including tomato (Lycopersicon esculentumMill ‘Campbell 28′) were sprayed in the greenhouse at weekly intervals for 4 weeks starting when tomato plants had one true leaf. All species gained tolerance to metribuzin [4-amino-6-tert-butyl-3-(methylthio)-as-triazine-5(4H)one] with age but tomato and black nightshade (Solarium ...

Kinetics of linuron and metribuzin degradation in soil

Pesticide Science, 1979
AbstractThe disappearance of linuron and metribuzin was studied during laboratory incubation of soil samples which had been taken from several depths at three sites, and treated with the pesticides. Temperature and water content of the soils were varied.

Differences in the tolerance of metribuzin by varieties of soybeans

Weed Research, 1974
Summary: Résumé: ZusammenfassungMetribuzin [4‐amino‐6‐tert‐butyl‐3‐(methylthio)‐as‐triazin‐5(4/f)‐one] has shown promise for weed control in Glycine max (L.) Merr. (soybean), but at rates effective for preemergence weed control soybean tolerance has been narrow and field observations indicated that varieties of soybeans differed in their tolerance ...

Novel formulation for enhancing efficiency of metribuzin.

Communications in agricultural and applied biological sciences, 2007
The biological efficiency of systemic herbicide metribuzin in water dispersible granules (WG) and solution colloid concentrate (SCC) formulations was studied in field experiments. Metribuzin formulation in SCC state was prepared by the addition of a mixture of anionic and non-ionic surfactants and alkoxylated sorbitan esters as specific adjuvants.
