Semisupervised Laplace-Regularized Multimodality Metric Learning
IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2022Distance metric learning, which aims at learning an appropriate metric from data automatically, plays a crucial role in the fields of pattern recognition and information retrieval. A tremendous amount of work has been devoted to metric learning in recent years, but much of the work is basically designed for training a linear and global metric with ...

Extensions of metric regularity†
Optimization, 2009This article is devoted to some extensions of the metric regularity property for mappings between metric or Banach spaces. Several new concepts are investigated in a unified manner: uniform metric regularity, metric regularity along a subspace, metric multi-regularity for mappings into product spaces (when each component is perturbed independently), as

Metrically Regular Square of Metrically Regular Bigraphs
1992Summary: The paper deals with the spectra of powers of metrically regular graphs. A necessary condition for \(G\) to have the square \(G^ 2\) metrically regular is found and the problem of the construction such graphs \(G\) is solved for metrically regular bipartite graphs with 4 and 5 distinct eigenvalues (these eigenvalues can have various ...

Regular Quotients of Metric Spaces
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1975In this note we consider the class of topological spaces whose every Hausdorff quotient is regular (or equivalently, normal). Sufficient conditions in order that a space belongs to this class have appeared in papers by Morita [3], and more recently by MacDonald and Willard [2]. In both cases, the authors impose conditions implying paracompactness.

Partially regular and cscK metrics
International Journal of Mathematics, 2020A Kähler metric [Formula: see text] with integral Kähler form is said to be partially regular if the partial Bergman kernel associated to [Formula: see text] is a positive constant for all integer [Formula: see text] sufficiently large. The aim of this paper is to prove that for all [Formula: see text] there exists an [Formula: see text]-dimensional ...
