Metrization of Proximity Spaces [PDF]
0. Introduction. Our purpose here is to present a metrization criterion for proximity spaces that is analogous to R. L. Moore's criterion for topological spaces [8]. Where Moore's criterion demands a sequence of open coverings, our criterion requires "admissible" coverings.

The fundamental theorem of asset pricing with and without transaction costs
Abstract We prove a version of the fundamental theorem of asset pricing (FTAP) in continuous time that is based on the strict no‐arbitrage condition and that is applicable to both frictionless markets and markets with proportional transaction costs. We consider a market with a single risky asset whose ask price process is higher than or equal to its ...

Topological Completions of Metrizable Spaces [PDF]
For a pair of metrizable spaces X X and Y Y , we investigate conditions under which there is a dense embedding h : X → Z h:X \to Z , where Z Z is completely metrizable and Z ∖ h ( X ) Z ...

An extended definition of Anosov representation for relatively hyperbolic groups
Abstract We define a new family of discrete representations of relatively hyperbolic groups which unifies many existing definitions and examples of geometrically finite behavior in higher rank. The definition includes the relative Anosov representations defined by Kapovich–Leeb and Zhu, and Zhu–Zimmer, as well as holonomy representations of various ...

Only 3-generalized metric spaces have a compatible symmetric topology
We prove that every 3-generalized metric space is metrizable. We also show that for any ʋ with ʋ ≥ 4, not every ʋ-generalized metric space has a compatible symmetric topology.

Classification of separately continuous mappings with values in o-metrizable spaces
We prove that every vertically nearly separately continuous mapping defined on a product of a strong PP-space and a topological space and with values in a strongly o-metrizable space with a special stratification, is a pointwise limit of continuous ...

Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons
Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\

The space of finitely generated rings
The space of marked commutative rings on n given generators is a compact metrizable space. We compute the Cantor-Bendixson rank of any member of this space.

All spaces here are Tychonoff spaces. The class AE(0) consists of those spaces which are absolute extensors for compact zero-dimensional spaces. We define and study here the subclass AE(0)rp, consisting of those spaces for which extensions of continuous ...

Quasibounded solutions to the complex Monge–Ampère equation
Abstract We study the Dirichlet problem for the complex Monge–Ampère operator on B‐regular domains in Cn$\mathbb {C}^n$, allowing boundary data that is singular or unbounded. We extend the concept of pluri‐quasibounded functions on the domain to functions on the boundary, defined by the existence of plurisuperharmonic majorants that dominate their ...
