Metrization theorems concerning relative compactness [PDF]
Many of earlier and recent results obtained for p-spaces and their relatives can be extended by using a simple and natural concept (relative compactness) which was defined and investigated in an earlier paper of the author. In the present paper extensions

The local triangle axiom in topology and domain theory
We introduce a general notion of distance in weakly separated topological spaces. Our approach differs from existing ones since we do not assume the reflexivity axiom in general.

A Rim-Metrizable Continuum [PDF]
A locally connected rim-metrizable continuum is constructed which admits a continuous mapping onto a non rim-metrizable space.

The Smirnov- and Bing-Nagata-Smirnov Metrization Theorems
In this essay we give a sufficient background to, and prove, the classical Bing-Nagata-Smirnov metrization theorem. Thus we show that a topological space is metrizable if, and only if, it is regular and has a countably locally finite basis.

In [1], A. A. Borubaev introduced the concept of τ-metric space, where τ is an arbitrary cardinal number. The class of τ-metric spaces as τ runs through the cardinal numbers contains all ordinary metric spaces (for τ = 1) and thus these spaces are a ...

On Frink's type metrization of weighted graphs [PDF]
Using the technique of the metrization theorem of uniformities with countable bases, in this note we provide, test and compare an explicit algorithm to produce a metric d(x,y) between the vertices x and y of an affinity weighted undirected graph.Fil ...

ABSTRACT Background Factors associated with relapse course and disability in myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody‐associated disease (MOGAD) remain incompletely understood. Objectives To identify clinical and modifiable factors associated with relapse and disability in MOGAD. Methods In this ambispective multicentre cohort study using data from

The idempotent mathematics is a part of mathematics in which arithmetic operations in the reals are replaced by idempotent operations. In the idempotent mathematics, the notion of idempotent measure (Maslov measure) is a counterpart of the notion of ...

Barbilian's metrization procedure in the plane yields either Riemannian or Lagrange generalized metrics [PDF]
summary:In the present paper we answer two questions raised by Barbilian in 1960. First, we study how far can the hypothesis of Barbilian's metrization procedure can be relaxed. Then, we prove that Barbilian's metrization procedure in the plane generates

Conjugated poly(imide dioxime)‐based microspheres establish a radiometal coordination‐driven conformational interlocked network with ultra‐high radiostability. This platform enables low‐temperature, multi‐radionuclide labeling for SPECT/PET/MRI imaging and radionuclide therapy. Mechanistic insights from EXAFS and DFT reveal enhanced stability, while in
