Interfacial Polysulfide Confinement via Spatially Controlled Sulfonated Metal–Organic Polyhedra Coatings in Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Spatially controlled sulfonated metal–organic polyhedra (SMOP) coating on sulfur‐loaded hollow carbon spheres form ultrathin, conformal interfacial barriers that selectively confine soluble polysulfides, stabilize sulfur redox, and suppress shuttle reactions.

Electrochemically Induced Interphase by Complex Hydride Anions in Argyrodite Solid Electrolytes for Stable Lithium Metal All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Complex hydride anion substitution in argyrodite electrolytes has attracted attention for improving interfacial stability, yet the influence of these anions at Li metal interfaces remains unclear. This work shows that electrochemically formed BH4−‐derived interphases enable stable high‐current full‐cell cycling.

Small-world MCMC and convergence to multi-modal distributions: From slow mixing to fast mixing

open access: yes, 2007
We compare convergence rates of Metropolis--Hastings chains to multi-modal target distributions when the proposal distributions can be of ``local'' and ``small world'' type.

Physics‐Based Compact Modeling of Advanced 3D Nanoscale Vertical NAND Flash Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
For advanced 3D NAND flash memory, a unified compact model for SPICE is proposed that spans from the intrinsic unit cell to the full string and captures the electrostatic coupling with adjacent inhibit strings. It can successfully predict read behavior, program/erase dynamics, and interactions between neighboring cells, reflecting array‐level behavior ...

Improved Adaptive Rejection Metropolis Sampling Algorithms

open access: yes, 2012
Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods, such as the Metropolis-Hastings (MH) algorithm, are widely used for Bayesian inference. One of the most important issues for any MCMC method is the convergence of the Markov chain, which depends crucially on a ...

High‐Performance Noble‐Metal‐Free Perovskite Solar Cells Enabled by MoOX/Cr/Al Multilayer Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Cost‐effective perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are developed using a noble‐metal‐free MoOX/Cr/Al multilayer electrode. The devices achieve a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 25.6%, competitive with that of Au‐based devices (26.3%), and a 25.5 cm2 mini‐module shows 21.3% PCE.
