Novel Desmin Mutation Causing Myofibrillar Myopathy in a Hmong Family
Myofibrillar myopathies (MFM) are a clinically and genetically heterogenous group of inherited myopathies characterized by aggregation of Z-disc proteins. Mutations in desmin account for ~7% of MFM.

Fe‐Based Nanocrystalline Magnetic Shielding Cylinder with Subfemtotesla‐Level Magnetic Noise
Shields with low magnetic noise are achieved by integrating Fe‐based nanocrystalline magnetic shielding cylinders into shielding systems based on μ‐metal. Benefiting from high permeability and low loss factor, Fe‐based nanocrystalline magnetic shielding cylinders effectively suppress magnetic noise. Notably, the magnetic shielding cylinder with the ten‐

Increasing the Q-factor of resonant cantilevers in magnetic force microscopy through helium gas flow
To obtain high-resolution magnetic force microscopy (MFM) images, it is essential to have a cantilever with a high-quality factor. However, conventional vibrating cantilevers typically have quality factor values in the range of a few hundred, which ...

Electrical signature of individual magnetic skyrmions in multilayered systems
Magnetic skyrmions are topologically protected whirling spin textures that can be stabilized in magnetic materials in which a chiral interaction is present. Their limited size together with their robustness against the external perturbations promote them

Exchange Length Tailored Magnetic Resonance for Broadband Absorption in FeCo‐Based Alloys
To break the high‐frequency magnetic loss bottleneck in soft magnetic alloys, a magnetic exchange length (Lex)‐guided strategy is proposed. Cu doping increases Lex and intergranular coupling, which effectively reduces magnetic anisotropy and pushes the exchange resonance to 12.0 GHz.

Stray field signatures of N\'eel textured skyrmions in Ir/Fe/Co/Pt multilayer films
Skyrmions are nanoscale spin configurations with topological properties that hold great promise for spintronic devices. Here, we establish their N\'eel texture, helicity, and size in Ir/Fe/Co/Pt multilayer films by constructing a multipole expansion to ...

Interface‐Engineered TiO2 Interlayer for Reliable Hafnia‐Based MFMIS FeFETs
An ultrathin TiO2 interlayer suppresses oxygen‐vacancy formation in HZO‐based MFMIS FeFETs, enabling enlarged memory windows and reduced leakage current with improved switching characteristics. ABSTRACT We investigated a TiO2‐engineered interfacial strategy to enhance the stability and reliability of hafnia‐based ferroelectric field‐effect transistors (

Evolution and control of the phase competition morphology in a manganite film
The competition among different phases in perovskite manganites is pronounced since their energies are very close under the interplay of charge, spin, orbital and lattice degrees of freedom.
