Hot Compression Deformation Behavior of Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr Alloy

The deformation behaviors of as-cast Mg-11Gd-2Y-Zn-Zr magnesium alloy were investigated by compression test with Gleeble-1500 thermal simulator at temperature of 623-753K and strain rate of 0.01-0.5 s-1. The flow stress behaviors of the magnesium alloy were carried out at a strain of 0.7.

The microstructure characteristics and mechanical properties of as-cast and hot extruded Mg-5Gd-4Y-0.5Zn-0.5Zr (GWZ540) alloy were investigated. Influence of Corrosion Morphology on Inductive Impedance of Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr-Ag Alloy

In this work, the corrosion behavior of Mg-6Gd-4Y-0.6Zn-0.5Zr-0.3Ag alloy was investigated by using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). EIS results showed that the inductive impedance changed with immersion duration. After 1 h of immersion, only one inductive loop was found at low frequency (LF).
