Crack-healing in spinel (MgAl2O4) ceramic
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2015Abstract This paper reports the crack-healing behavior in spinel ceramic. Spinel nanopowder was synthesized via mechanical activation with subsequent annealing of magnesium carbonate and aluminum hydroxide. The produced nanopowder was uniaxially pressed and then sintered at 1200 °C for 1 h.

Low temperature ESR of MgAl2O4 nanoceramics
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2019MgAl2O4 nanoceramics was synthesized by thermobaric hardening. The six narrow lines in the ESR spectrum are the hyperfine structure of the uncontrolled Mn2+ impurity. Thermobaric hardening of nanoceramics leads to the formation of paramagnetic F+ centers.
