Face-Mic

Proceedings of the 27th Annual International Conference on Mobile Computing and Networking, 2021
Augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) has extended beyond 3D immersive gaming to a broader array of applications, such as shopping, tourism, education. And recently there has been a large shift from handheld-controller dominated interactions to headset-dominated interactions via voice interfaces.

Significant increase in MIC-A and MIC-B and soluble MIC-A and MIC-B in canine lymphomas

Veterinary Immunology and Immunopathology, 2023
Non-Hodkin's lymphoma (NHL) is the most frequent hematologic malignancy in humans and dogs. NKG2D is one of the most critical receptors on NK cells, recognizing their natural ligands on malignant cells such as A and B major histocompatibility complex-related proteins (MIC-A and MIC-B).

RF-Mic

Proceedings of the ACM on Interactive, Mobile, Wearable and Ubiquitous Technologies, 2023
Eavesdropping on human voice is one of the most common but harmful threats to personal privacy. Glasses are in direct contact with human face, which could sense facial motions when users speak, so human speech contents could be inferred by sensing the movements of glasses.

MICS

Proceedings of the Third ACM International Conference on Distributed Event-Based Systems, 2009
One of the main challenges faced by content-based publish/subscribe systems is handling large amount of dynamic subscriptions and publications in a multidimensional content space. To reduce subscription forwarding load and speed up content matching, subscription covering, subsumption and merging techniques have been proposed.

MIC-A polymorphism in Japanese and a MIC-A-MIC-B null haplotype

Immunogenetics, 1999
A polymorphic gene, MIC-A, is one of the MIC family of genes which is composed of a group of homologous genes interspersed in the class III and class I regions of the major histocompatibility complex. MIC-A is located 46 kilobases (kb) centromeric of HLA-B, and is preferentially expressed in the epithelial cells and intestinal mucosa.

MIC Myths - Does Pitting Cause MIC?

CORROSION 1998, 1998
Abstract It is widely accepted that sulfate reducers, acid producers, metal oxidizers and certain other bacteria can contribute to corrosion. However, it is far from clear how biological activity influences corrosion processes, how much metal loss is caused by bacteria, and most importantly, how microbial attack can be differentiated ...
