Thousands of small and medium-sized companies world-wide have non-automated warehouses. Picking orders are manually processed by blue-collar workers; however, this process is highly error-prone. There are various kinds of picking errors that can occur, which cause immense costs and aggravate customers.

Mica is an autonomous, photoreal human character that runs on the Magic Leap One spatial computing platform. The past ten years have seen tremendous improvements in virtual character technology on screen, in film and games. Spatial computing hardware such as Magic Leap One allows us to take the next step: interacting with virtual characters off the ...

Two novel MICA alleles, MICA*054 and MICA*056
Tissue Antigens, 2008We report the identification of two novel major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I‐related chain A (MICA) alleles. MICA*054 has a nucleotide substitution of A to G at position 871 (codon 268), encoding an amino acid change of serine to glycine in the α‐3 domain.

Fracture of mica‐reinforced polypropylene: Mica concentration effect
Polymer Composites, 1985AbstractConcepts of post‐yield fracture mechanics were used to characterize the crack initiation and propagation resistances of mica‐reinforced polypropylene containing different mica concentrations. Although mica addition leads to an apparently brittle composite, the crack initiation resistance is slightly increased with mica concentration up to 10 ...

Characterization of a novel MICA allele, MICA*047
Tissue Antigens, 2002Abstract: We report the identification of a novel MICA allele, MICA*047. It was initially detected because of an unusual hybridization pattern with sequence‐specific oligonucleotides (SSOP) in a normal subject of Caucasian origin. Cloning and sequencing of both strands, and comparison of the sequence with previously defined MICA alleles, revealed that ...

Identification of a new MICA allele, MICA*047
Tissue Antigens, 2002Abstract: The MHC Class I related (MIC) gene family has been shown to be very polymorphic with 46 different MICA alleles being officially named by the WHO Nomenclature Committee for factors of the HLA system to date. We have identified a novel MICA allele, MICA*047, in a Coya American Indian individual from the Jujuy province of north‐western Argentina.
