The Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MICA) and the EU Digital Finance Strategy
Capital Markets Law Journal, 2020The European Commission published its new Digital Finance Strategy on 24 September 2020. One of the centrepieces of the Strategy is the draft Regulation on Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA), designed to provide a comprehensive regulatory framework for ...

Thousands of small and medium-sized companies world-wide have non-automated warehouses. Picking orders are manually processed by blue-collar workers; however, this process is highly error-prone. There are various kinds of picking errors that can occur, which cause immense costs and aggravate customers.

Characterization of a novel MICA allele, MICA*047
Tissue Antigens, 2002Abstract: We report the identification of a novel MICA allele, MICA*047. It was initially detected because of an unusual hybridization pattern with sequence‐specific oligonucleotides (SSOP) in a normal subject of Caucasian origin. Cloning and sequencing of both strands, and comparison of the sequence with previously defined MICA alleles, revealed that ...

Identification of a novel MICA allele: MICA*051
Tissue Antigens, 2004Abstract: We have identified a novel MICA allele, MICA*051, detected by the polymerase chain reaction using sequence‐specific primers and characterized by sequence‐based typing. MICA*051 appears to be the result of a recombination between MICA*00801 and MICA*00701 at intron 2.

Identification of a new MICA allele, MICA*047
Tissue Antigens, 2002Abstract: The MHC Class I related (MIC) gene family has been shown to be very polymorphic with 46 different MICA alleles being officially named by the WHO Nomenclature Committee for factors of the HLA system to date. We have identified a novel MICA allele, MICA*047, in a Coya American Indian individual from the Jujuy province of north‐western Argentina.

Clays and Clay Minerals, 1998
AbstractEnd members and species defined with permissible ranges of composition are presented for the true micas, the brittle micas and the interlayer-cation-deficient micas. The determination of the crystallochemical formula for different available chemical data is outlined, and a system of modifiers and suffixes is given to allow the expression of ...

Fracture of mica‐reinforced polypropylene: Mica concentration effect
Polymer Composites, 1985AbstractConcepts of post‐yield fracture mechanics were used to characterize the crack initiation and propagation resistances of mica‐reinforced polypropylene containing different mica concentrations. Although mica addition leads to an apparently brittle composite, the crack initiation resistance is slightly increased with mica concentration up to 10 ...

Synthesis of kaolinite from micas and K-depleted micas
Clays and Clay Minerals, 2007AbstractThe weathering stages of K-depleted biotite, K-depleted phlogopite, and natural biotite were investigated using hydrothermal treatment with A1C13 solution at 200°C for 12 to 72 h. Although there were some differences in the degree of weathering of the two K-depleted micas, both first transformed to hydroxy-Al interlayered vermiculite (HIV ...
