Imaging of Micro-Cracks by Photo-Displacement Microscopy
IEEE 1984 Ultrasonics Symposium, 1984Thermal waves are generated using a modulated conductor laser as the heat source. The resulting disturbance is sensed, by means of a HeNe laser probe, which detects the vertical displacement of the surface. The probing laser spot can be coincident with that of the thermal wave generating laser.

Fractal Study for Micro-Crack of Mud-Shale
Key Engineering Materials, 2016The structure, distribution and evolution of micro-crack within the mud-shale are studied in this paper. The micro-fracture behavior of mud-shale has fractal characteristics. Fractal method is used to quantitative description of the damage evolution behavior of the mud-shale.
