Bone Evaluation with Micro Finite Element Analysis in Animal Models
Micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) is a commonly used tool for bone evaluation in animal model research. Micro-scale finite element analysis (µFEA) has been proposed to account for different loading scenarios, detailed three-dimensional (3D) bone ...

Prediction of capillary suction in porous media based on micro-CT technology and B–C model
Moisture variation in porous media depends mainly on the pore characteristics. This article used the micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) (a non-destructive imaging technique to generate a three-dimensional virtual model) and the Brooks–Corey model to ...

Analyzing the human liver vascular architecture by combining vascular corrosion casting and micro-CT scanning: a feasibility study [PDF]
Although a full understanding of the hepatic circulation is one of the keys to successfully perform liver surgery and to elucidate liver pathology, relatively little is known about the functional organization of the liver vasculature.

Three‐dimensional Antimony Sulfide Based Flat Optics
This work presents the development of a grayscale electron beam lithography (g‐EBL) method for fabricating antimony trisulfide (Sb2S3) nanostructures with customizable 3D profiles. The refractive index of g‐EBL patterned Sb2S3 is determined based on the synergy of genetic algorithm and transfer matrix method.

Cold Quad‐Modal Nanocomplex for Precise and Quantitative In Vivo Stem Cell Tracking
Multimodal albumin–bismuth sulfide–superparamagnetic iron oxide (ABS) nanocomplexes are developed for stem cell tracking across four different imaging modalities: MRI, MPI, MSOT, and CT. Combining its flexibility with high sensitivity, this quad‐modal imaging agent enables a robust quantification of ABS‐labeled stem cells in vivo.
