Micro‐expression recognition by two‐stream difference network
Facial micro‐expression is a superposition of micro‐expression features and identity information of a subject. For the problem of identity information interference in micro‐expression recognition, this study proposes a new method for facial micro ...

Facial Micro-Expression Recognition Based on Deep Local-Holistic Network
A micro-expression is a subtle, local and brief facial movement. It can reveal the genuine emotions that a person tries to conceal and is considered an important clue for lie detection.

Temporal-Polar Dynamics: Elevating Event-Based Micro-Expression Recognition
Micro-expressions refer to brief, subtle facial movements often concealing genuine human emotions. However, the advancement of Micro-Expression Recognition (MER) is hindered by the low frame rates of frame-based cameras.

Micro-Expression Recognition Based on Nodal Efficiency in the EEG Functional Networks
Micro-expression recognition based on ima- ges has made some progress, yet limitations persist. For instance, image-based recognition of micro-expressions is affected by factors such as ambient light, changes in head posture, and facial occlusion.

Action Decouple Multi-Tasking for Micro-Expression Recognition
Micro-expressions are brief, involuntary facial movements that reveal genuine emotions. However, extracting and learning features from micro-expressions poses challenges due to their short duration and low intensity.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
