A variational approach to the local character of G-closure: the convex case
This article is devoted to characterize all possible effective behaviors of composite materials by means of periodic homogenization. This is known as a $G$-closure problem.

Transfer of Energy and Momentum Between Magnetoactive Surface Microstructure and a Solid Object
We demonstrate that magnetoactive multilamellar arrays subjected to a rotating magnetic field can function as platforms for controlled transport of physical objects. Through systematic experimental investigation, we elucidate the underlying physical mechanisms determining the upper limit of the achievable transportation speed in such magnetic “conveyor‐

A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

The Neumann problem in thin domains with very highly oscillatory boundaries
In this paper we analyze the behavior of solutions of the Neumann problem posed in a thin domain of the type $R^\epsilon = \{(x_1,x_2) \in \R^2 \; | \; x_1 \in (0,1), \, - \, \epsilon \, b(x_1) < x_2 < \epsilon \, G(x_1, x_1/\epsilon^\alpha) \}$ with ...

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Homogenization in strength and durability analysis of reinforced tooth filling [PDF]
An asymptotic homogenization procedure is employed to obtain effective elastic properties of the composite tooth filling, a homogenized macro– stress field and a first approximation to the micro-stress field, from properties of the components and applied
