Automated alignment in mask‐free photolithography enabled by micro‐LED arrays
We present an automated control system for micro scale positioning, based on single pixel imaging and fluorescence. By projecting a chequerboard array of CMOS controllable μ‐LEDs at a suitable wavelength, we are able to spatially locate, track and ...

Micro-LED Technology for Display Applications
Light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which emit efficient and bright light ranging from infrared to ultraviolet, have been adopted in various fields to improve quality of life. In particular, micro-LEDs, which are III–V inorganic-based micro-miniaturized light sources, which can form clear and vivid displays for smart portable devices and can be used with ...

Improving the Power Efficiency of Micro-LED Displays with Optimized LED Chip Sizes
Micro-LED (light-emitting diode) is a potentially disruptive display technology, while power consumption is a critical issue for all display devices. In this paper, we develop a physical model to evaluate the power consumption of micro-LED displays under

Angular color shift of micro-LED displays
Sidewall emission of a micro-scale light emitting diode (micro-LED) improves the light extraction efficiency, but it causes mismatched angular distributions between AlGaInP-based red micro-LED and InGaN-based blue/green counterparts due to material difference. As a result, color shift of RGB micro-LED displays may become visually noticeable. To address

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified
