Unveiling Activation Process of C═N Cathode for High‐Performing Zinc‐Organic Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐performance organic cathode of DPPT has been designed for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries (ZIBs), showing ultralong cycle life of 45 000 cycles. Besides, flexible DPPT ZIBs with stable capacity are applied in wearable NH3 sensors. Notably, the activation mechanism of the transformation of DPPT‐eight proton into DPPT is proposed and proved which ...

Development Of Linear Displacement Sensor Using Meander Coil And Pattern Guide [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In modern industrial production processes, the actual displacement of fast moving objects needs to be detected and it is ideally done without mechanical contact. There exists a variety of suitable sensors that provide an output signal (voltage or current)

Improved Direct Ink Writing of Liquid Metal Foams via Liquid Additives

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The ability to pattern liquid metal is useful for making soft electrical and thermal devices. Dispensing liquid metal from a nozzle naturally results in the formation of spheroidal droplets, making direct‐write printing challenging. Liquid metal foams containing pockets of air can extrude as filaments, albeit inconsistently.

Breaking the Durability–Power Trade‐Off: Boron‐Directed Faceted O3 Cathodes for High‐Rate Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Boron‐oxide‐assisted particle engineering stabilizes O3‐type layered cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries by mitigating phase transitions and lattice strain. Acting as flux and structural modifier, boron forms submicron hexagonal platelets with (003) facets and expanded Na‐layer spacing, enabling rapid Na⁺ diffusion and mechanical resilience.
