Micro process design and virtualization in the service industry
Proceedings of the 2007 Euro American conference on Telematics and information systems, 2007In this research we deal with the design stage by introducing the micro process and interconnectivity concept as the foundation of the service component design. Service virtualization is a new area requiring our attention as in the service industry all enterprise integration and industry silos need to be consolidated and form a main route.

Web Service Micro-Container for Service-based Applications in Cloud Environments
2011 IEEE 20th International Workshops on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises, 2011Cloud computing describes a new supplement, consumption, and delivery model for IT services based on Internet protocols, and it typically involves provisioning of dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources. In this paper, we propose to design and implement a new service micro-container to address scalability by reducing memory consumption and

Pricing VoWLAN services through a micro-economic framework
IEEE Wireless Communications, 2006This article investigates the issue of determining an appropriate pricing strategy for voice over WLAN provisioning. This is performed by first framing the voice services in a tunable QoS scenario. The analysis is then performed with the awareness that in a WLAN system the tariff payment determines price-based access regulation, which implies a ...
