Controller Design for Micro Turbojet Engine

2020 12th International Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEENG), 2020
Modern turbojet engines are controlled using digital controllers. First of all, the micro turbojet engine discrete model is identified. System identification technique utilized real data obtained from jet cat P200sx engine running experiments. Digital PID controllers are mostly used for controlling these engines.

Thermo-dynamic cycle computation of a micro turbojet engine

2016 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI), 2016
Thermodynamic models are a perfect tool to describe heat engines. But such thermodynamic model must be extended to reflect reality as accurately as possible. Micro turbo compressor engines are a specific type of heat engines that are derived from normal turbo compressor engines. To compute their thermodynamic parameters we need to know their dimensions

Thermodynamic and Mechanical Design Concept for Micro-Turbojet to Micro-Turboshaft Engine Conversion

Volume 8: Industrial and Cogeneration; Manufacturing Materials and Metallurgy; Marine; Microturbines, Turbochargers, and Small Turbomachines, 2020
Abstract In this work, a design concept for micro-turbojet to micro-turboshaft engine conversion is presented. This is motivated by a lack of available micro-turboshaft engines which is shown in the market survey conducted. Thus, the presented concept deals with the conversion of an existing micro-turbojet engine to a micro-turboshaft ...

Advanced Data Acquisition System for Alternative Fuels Micro Turbojet Engine Test Bench

2020 New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD), 2020
As in commercial aviation, military aircraft typically use gas turbine engines for propulsion. Regardless of the actual output being thrust or shaft power, each type employs similar working process to produce high energy gasses. Although they are more tolerant to different fuel grades, traditionally jet fuel has been utilized in the past decades.

Study on micro-turbojet engine with high thrust-to-weight ratio

Theoretical and Natural Science, 2023
Micro-turbojet engine refers to a closed cycle gas turbine engine with thrust below 500kg and power below 100kW. The performance indicators of domestic products are relatively low, and the main problems of domestic products are low thrust-to-weight ratio, poor reliability, and low heat resistance.
