ON THE HARDENABILITY OF AN INTERCRITICALLY HEAT TREATED MICROALLOYED STEEL
Instrumentation Science & Technology, 2010Dual phase steel has become an important engineering material to be used in structural and automotive applications due to its good combination of strength, ductility, and formability. In this study, hardenability of a low carbon and microalloyed steel was investigated by using the standard Jominy End Quench Test at four different quenching temperatures.

HOT DUCTILITY OF MICROALLOYED STEELS
2008The loss in ductility experienced by microalloyed steels at temperatures generally ranging from 700 to 1100°C is a widely studied subject in steel research. The hot ductility behaviour of steels is usually measured through the reduction of area of the samples after hot tensile tests performed up to fracture.

Production and weldability of microalloyed steels
