Chondroitin sulfate restores muscle mass via gut–muscle axis remodeling through sugar–bile acid metabolism reprogramming

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
The graphical abstract illustrates the molecular mechanism by which chondroitin sulfate (DCS) alleviates glucocorticoid‐induced myopathy through the gut–muscle axis. DCS selectively enriches L. johnsonii Z‐RW, enhancing bshA‐encoded BSH activity to promote bile acid deconjugation and reduce the sugar–bile acid ratio, thereby re‐establishing intestinal ...

Microbial synthetic community ARC prevents aflatoxin and increases rhizobia‐legume nodulation couplingly

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
Develop a novel strategy for exploring a dual‐functional microbial synthetic community. Invent the SynCom ARC, which achieves aflatoxin control and rhizobia nodulation induction coupling in peanut. SynCom ARC inhibits A. flavus growth and reduces peanut aflatoxin levels by 85.6% in 4 year field trials.

Potent monoclonal antibodies against multidrug‐resistant hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
A novel immunization strategy using a low‐virulence, multidrug‐resistant strain yields synergistic monoclonal antibodies against hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae. These antibodies provide cross‐serotype protection through a dual‐mechanism of pathogen clearance and immunomodulation, offering a promising non‐antibiotic therapeutic for resistant ...

Microbial Inoculants: Silver Bullet or Microbial Jurassic Park?

Trends in Microbiology, 2021
The appeal of using microbial inoculants to mediate plant traits and productivity in managed ecosystems has increased over the past decade, because microbes represent an alternative to fertilizers, pesticides, and direct genetic modification of plants.

Microbial Inoculants as Biofertilizer

2016
Increasing application of chemical fertilizers in agriculture make country self dependent in food production but it depreciate environment and cause harmful impacts on living beings. The excess uses of these fertilizers in agriculture are costly and have various adverse effects on soil fertility.

Microbial Inoculants for Sustainable Forests

Journal of Sustainable Forestry, 1997
Abstract Fungal root pathogens are widespread and may cause substantial seedling losses in conifer nurseries. Furthermore, poor seedling survival and growth on reforestation sites results in reduced forest regeneration. Use of microbial inoculants for disease control and plant growth promotion has become an important endeavour.
