Adhesion‐Enhanced Engineered Probiotic for Prolonged Intestinal Retention and Calprotectin‐Responsive IBD Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An intelligent engineered probiotic platform is developed for the precision management of inflammatory bowel disease. By integrating surface‐displayed adhesins with an inflammation‐responsive CAT‐SOD‐GPx tripartite fusion system and mucosal repair factors, this programmable system achieves prolonged intestinal retention and multi‐pronged therapy.

Beyond Conventional: A Review of Phytochemical‐Hydrogel Systems Enhanced by AI and 3D Printing for Chronic Wound Management

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review systematically bridges chronic wound pathology with natural phytochemical hydrogel therapeutics. A pathology‐to‐phytochemical mechanistic mapping framework is established, linking specific wound hallmarks to targeted phytochemical interventions.

Dual‐Targeted Biomimetic MoSe2 Nanozymes for Enhancing Peri‐Implant Soft Tissue Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐targeting biomimetic nanozyme, MoSe2@SPMM, selectively targets Staphylococcus aureus and oxidatively stressed macrophages. Near‐infrared activation couples contact‐enhanced photothermal bacterial eradication with reactive oxygen species scavenging to disrupt the pathogenic–immunological amplification loop.

Magneto‐Sono‐Enhanced Nanozyme Catalysis Drives ROS‐Mediated Pathogen Killing and Mitophagy‐Linked Inflammation Control in Bacterial Pneumonia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nebulized BN@NF nanozymes integrate boron nanosheets with Nd‐doped iron phosphide to form a sono‐magneto‐responsive Z‐scheme heterostructure. Under ultrasound and magnetic activation, BN@NF amplifies ROS generation, eradicates bacteria, disrupts biofilms, and reshapes pulmonary inflammation through NF‐κB suppression, mitophagy promotion, and M1‐to‐M2 ...

Fermentation Potentials of Baobab Pulp Extract in Soy Yoghurt Production

open access: yesAgriFood: Journal of Agricultural Products for Food, EarlyView.
The research work was about the importance of sourcing for alternative inoculants to replace the main inoculants regularly used for yoghurt production. The search for baobab pulp extract as replacement yielded result, as soy yoghurt was successfully produced.
