This study presents a 3D‐printed carrier for the slow release of insect pheromones. Reinforced by lignosulfonate and Fe³⁺ coordination in a cellulose acetate matrix, it enables sustained release for up to six weeks with remarkable trapping efficacy. Featuring soil degradability and recyclable re‐printing capability, this carrier provides a sustainable ...

Cinnamic‐hydroxamic‐acid derivatives (CHADs) are identified as novel inhibitors of the bacterial nucleoid‐associated protein HU, exhibiting potent antibacterial, anti‐biofilm (both inhibition and eradication), and DNA relaxation (anti‐supercoiling) activities. Moreover, CHADs demonstrate strong synergistic effects with multiple antibiotics.

Metabolomics‐based ageing clocks developed using blood biomarkers from over 215 000 European adults, improved the prediction of 10‐year all‐cause mortality compared to traditional models. Biological age acceleration is associated with higher mortality risk, as each additional year of metabolic age corresponded to at least 8% increased risk. These tools

Gold nanostar‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) enables real‐time, label‐free tracking of levofloxacin diffusion in intact biofilms. Nanostars embedded 16 µm below the surface detect drug arrival over time, revealing the impact of the biofilm matrix on antibiotic transport. Abstract The increased resistance to antibiotics shown by bacteria in biofilms
