[Accelerated determination of microbial sensitivity to antibiotics and chemotherapeutic preparations by serial dilutions using the peroxidase test].

open access: closedAntibiotiki, 1980
A rapid method for determination of microbial sensitivity to antibiotics and chemotherapeutic drugs with the use of the peroxidase test is described. The procedure takes 6 hours. Peroxidase is determined by a change in the color of the methyl-para-amino phenol sulfate solution added to the broth culture in 6 hours (simultaneously with hydrogen peroxide)

[Establishment and Evaluation of a Resazurin-Based Microdilution Assay for Microbial Sensitivity Test of Neisseria gonorrhoeae].

Sichuan da xue xue bao. Yi xue ban = Journal of Sichuan University. Medical science edition
To establish and evaluate a microbial sensitivity test method for Neisseria gonorrhoeae based on resazurin coloration.Based on the broth microdilution method, resazurin was added as a live bacteria indicator. WHO G, a WHO gonococcal reference strain, was used to optimize the incubation time for resazurin-stained bacteria and the color change was ...
