Skin microbiocenosis in patients with lichen planus

At the present stage, lichen planus is a fairly common skin disease. Its specific gravity in the structure of dermatoses ranges within 1—2 %. The etiological and pathogenetic factors of lichen planus remain poorly understood. In recent years, considerable attention has been paid to the study of skin microbiocenosis in patients with this dermatosis.

[Rheumatoid arthritis and the intestinal microbiocenosis].

Intestinal microflora was investigated by fecal bacteriological examination in 175 patients with verified rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Intestinal dysbacteriosis of different stages was detected in 75% of the RA patients on nonsteroid antiinflammatory treatment.
