Optical microbubble resonator [PDF]
We develop a method for fabricating very small silica microbubbles having a micrometer-order wall thickness and demonstrate the first optical microbubble resonator. Our method is based on blowing a microbubble using stable radiative CO(2) laser heating rather than unstable convective heating in a flame or furnace.

Polymer Mechanochemistry in Microbubbles
AbstractPolymer mechanochemistry is a promising technology to convert mechanical energy into chemical functionality by breaking covalent and supramolecular bonds site‐selectively. Yet, the mechanochemical reaction rates of covalent bonds in typically used ultrasonication setups lead to reasonable conversions only after comparably long sonication times.

Study on Liquid Turbulence Modulation by Microbubbles in Different Turbulence Layers
Bubbly flows exist extensively in industrial processes. To enhance efficiencies of industrial processes, it is very necessary and important to understand detailedly mechanisms of liquid turbulence modulation by bubbles.
