Noninvasive Focal Gene Delivery into the Cerebellum of Non‐Human Primates using Focused Ultrasound
Focal and non‐invasive viral vector delivery in non‐human primates remains a major challenge in translational neuroscience. Low‐intensity focused ultrasound was used to transiently open the blood–brain barrier and enable targeted gene delivery to the cerebellum.

Abstract The immobilization of lipase B from Candida antarctica (CALB) on an amino‐epoxy functionalized magnetic support (Fe3O4‐PEI‐DGEBA) resulted in a highly stable and efficient biocatalyst for biofuel production from tilapia oil. The synthesized support was characterized using scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray ...

Multiparametric Ultrasound Findings of Testicular Sarcoidosis
Objectives To characterize the multiparametric ultrasound (MPUS) features of testicular sarcoidosis, incorporating greyscale, color Doppler ultrasound (CDUS), contrast‐enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), and strain elastography (SE), and to assess their collective diagnostic value.

Ultrasound spectral characterization of microbubbles in flow.
Microbubbles are bubbles, where diameter varies from 1 µm to 1 mm. Microbubbles are filled by gas and coated with lipid or proteins shell. This moment microbubbles are widely being used in medicine as ultrasound contrast agents.

Magnetic Microbubbles for Targeted Drug Release
We propose to synthesize and characterize magnetic microbubbles for examining the use of magnetic microbubbles for targeted drug delivery. Using magnetic microbubbles as carriers, we will test how well drugs can be dispersed by means of ultrasound and ...

A new in silico model to precisely design focused ultrasound brain therapies
Abstract Background Focused ultrasound (FUS) combined with microbubbles enables transient and noninvasive blood–brain barrier (BBB) opening, facilitating targeted drug delivery. However, accurate treatment planning remains difficult due to inter‐patient anatomical variability and the common assumption in simulations that brain tissues behave like water.

ABSTRACT Plant‐based antioxidants are widely incorporated into foods to retard oxidative deterioration and to deliver health‐related benefits. Yet, their in‐product and in vivo performance frequently diverges from predictions based on solution‐phase chemical assays, because matrix interactions, processing history, and host metabolism reshape both ...
