Intra‐Arterial Deoxyribonuclease Therapy Improves Stroke Outcomes in Aged Mice

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 31, Issue 6, June 2025.
We explored a novel direct intra‐arterial DNase therapy and its effect in aged mice with AIS. IA DNase therapy decreased neutrophil and NET burden in the penumbra in aged mice with AIS, provided more efficient cerebral reperfusion, and better functional outcomes after recanalization during the treatment of stroke.

Prognostic Value of Cerebral Hemodynamics Assessment on 24‐h Transcranial Color‐Coded Doppler Following a Successful Thrombectomy

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neurology, Volume 32, Issue 6, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims This study evaluates the distribution and prognostic role of transcranial color‐coded Doppler (TCCD) spectral patterns following a successful endovascular thrombectomy (EVT). Methods This multicenter prospective study included patients with internal carotid or middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion treated in the early time

Involvement of the ADAMTS13–von Willebrand factor axis in acute kidney injury in mice with liver cirrhosis

open access: yesHepatology Research, Volume 55, Issue 6, Page 844-858, June 2025.
Abstract Aim Hepatorenal syndrome‐induced acute kidney injury (AKI) comprises AKI and liver cirrhosis (LC) and is a risk factor for poor prognoses of patients with LC. Decreased a disintegrin‐like metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type 1 motif 13 (ADAMTS13) activity and increased von Willebrand factor (vWF) antigen levels are associated with LC ...
