Acceleration of reaction in charged microdroplets [PDF]
AbstractUsing high-resolution mass spectrometry, we have studied the synthesis of isoquinoline in a charged electrospray droplet and the complexation between cytochromecand maltose in a fused droplet to investigate the feasibility of droplets to drive reactions (both covalent and noncovalent interactions) at a faster rate than that observed in ...

Investigation of the Phase‐Separation Point During CO2 Absorption in the DETA–Sulfolane–Water System
Optical scattering diagnostics combined with generalized solubility product modeling enables quantitative prediction of phase separation in DETA–sulfolane–water biphasic CO2 absorbents. ABSTRACT The phase‐separation behavior of liquid–liquid biphasic amine absorbents is typically identified using bubbling reactors, where visual observation is employed ...

Microdroplet Protein Sensors on a Gold Surface with a Self-assembled Monolayer Treatment
A new kind of microdroplet-based biological protein sensor is presented. The sensor was made by placing silicon oil on gold film with a self-assembled monolayer (SAM). The surface tension dominates the sensitivity of the sensor.

Recent Progress on Graphitic Carbon Nitride–Based Photocatalysts for Hydrogen Peroxide Synthesis
This review summarizes recent progress in using graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) photocatalysts to produce hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). It highlights how solar energy can cleanly convert water and oxygen into this valuable chemical. We discuss key modification strategies, such as defect engineering, doping, and junction construction, to enhance ...
