Tunable Microgel‐Templated Porogel (MTP) Bioink for 3D Bioprinting Applications
Micropores are essential for tissue engineering to ensure adequate mass transportation for embedded cells. Despite the considerable progress made by advanced 3D bioprinting technologies, it remains challenging to engineer micropores of 100 µm or smaller ...

Blackening and blackening control of litopenaeus vannamei during storage at low temperature
Litopenaeus vannamei easily blackens during cold storage. To inhibit blackening and improve the storage quality of prawns, in this study, konjac glucomman (KGM)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) topological microgel was formed and used for storage and ...

Modeling analysis of microenvironment of 3D cell mechanics based on machine vision
Aiming at the problem of poor construction accuracy of the cellular three-dimensional (3D) mechanical microenvironment, this article studies the cellular 3D mechanical microenvironment based on machine vision. The gelatin methacrylate microgel column was

Does the Size of Microgels Influence the Toughness of Microgel‐Reinforced Hydrogels?
AbstractRapid advances in the biomedical field increasingly often demand soft materials that can be processed into complex 3D shapes while being able to reliably bear significant loads. Granular hydrogels have the potential to serve as artificial tissues because they can be 3D printed into complex shapes and their composition can be tuned over short ...

Thermodynamics of ionic microgels [PDF]
We present a theory of dilute aqueous suspensions of microgel particles. It is found that as the number of charged monomers in the polymer network composing mesoscopic gel increases, the particles undergo a swelling transition. Depending on the hydrophobicity of the polymer, this transition can be either continuous or discontinuous.
