Design of a Low-Area, Low-Power and High-Speed Comparator in 65 nm FinFET Technology

open access: yesمهندسی مخابرات جنوب
In the present study, a new low-power and high-speed comparator circuit is designed in 65 nm fin field-effect transistor (FinFET) technology. Moreover, by properly using the capabilities of FinFET technology, the number of transistors is reduced, and ...

Ferromagnetically Shielded Fault Current Limiter (FS‐FCL) Evaluation in Power Line

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This study introduces a new ferromagnetically shielded FS‐FCL design and its control strategy for limiting and interrupting fault currents. The fully shielded core structure enhances inductance and prevents saturation, enabling an immediate fault response without causing voltage drop during normal conditions.

Enhancing Resilience and Efficiency in Low‐Voltage Resistive AC Microgrids Through Distributed Control Strategies

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
A distributed secondary control strategy for low‐voltage resistive AC microgrids is proposed, where consensus‐based algorithms dynamically adjust both the slope and offset of V‐I droop characteristics. This dual adaptation enables accurate proportional power sharing and effective voltage regulation at the PCC, while ensuring fast transient response and

Analytical Examination of Strategic and Purposeful Behaviours in Peer‐to‐Peer Energy Trading

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper examines the strategic behaviour of prosumers in the P2P energy trading market. Prosumers may reduce the amount of energy they supply with the aim of increasing the clearing price. On the other hand, the market‐clearing mechanism is designed to mitigate such behaviours.
