Protection of microgrid with high amounts of renewables : challenges and solutions [PDF]
Microgrid is a small-scale network including generators, loads and storage system, which provides a friendly way for the penetration of renewables and releases the burden of transmission system arising from the increased energy demand.

ABSTRACT Balancing reliable energy supply, equitable access, and environmental sustainability is a central challenge of the global energy transition. This study examines how innovation influences the energy trilemma by shaping energy security, energy equity, and environmental sustainability across 115 countries from 2011 to 2023.

ABSTRACT This study addresses a persistent challenge in community resilience research and practice: how to assess and build resilience when communities face multiple, interacting, and potentially unforeseen risks. It develops a relational framework for multi‐risk resilience based on Person–Environment (P–E) Fit Theory.

Performance Evaluation of Fuel Cell and Microturbine as Distributed Generators in a Microgrid [PDF]
This paper presents dynamic models of distributed generators (DG) and investigates dynamic behaviour of the DG units within a microgrid system. The DG units include micro turbine, fuel cell and the electronically interfaced sources.

Hydrogen boride (HB) sheets exhibit strongly solvent‐dependent dispersion and photoinduced hydrogen release. HB‐sheet dispersibility depends on solvent‐dependent interactions, whereas hydrogen release is more strongly associated with the hydrogen‐bonding character of the solvent.

ABSTRACT Accurate load forecasting and reliable anomaly detection are critical for the stable operation of modern smart grids (SGs), which increasingly rely on cyber‐connected infrastructures. However, the integration of smart metres and two‐way communication exposes SGs to data integrity attacks that can manipulate consumption measurements, degrade ...

V2G Scaling for Electric Trucks From a Cyber‐Physical‐Social Perspective: Challenges and Pathways
ABSTRACT Under the dual carbon strategy, electric trucks, as a key element in emission reduction within the transportation sector, can achieve a mutually beneficial situation for both the power system and the transportation system through vehicle‐to‐grid (V2G).

A hybrid GA–PSO framework determines the optimal placement and sizing of distributed battery energy storage systems in a PV‐enriched low voltage feeder, whereas dynamic consensus control (DCC) coordinates their operation. The integrated approach mitigates voltage rise and reverse power flow and promotes balanced utilisation of multiple storage units ...
