Effect of two different tooth bleaching techniques on microhardness of giomer
Background Tooth bleaching is a safe and conservative treatment modality to improve the esthetic appearance of discolored teeth. One of the problems with the use of bleaching agents is their possible effect on surface microhardness of resin-based ...

Microhardness of Semicrystalline Polymers [PDF]
A new approach to justify the dependence of microhardness of semicrystal-line polymers, specially polyethylene, upon average crystal thickness is given. A basic model of deformation under local compression is proposed in terms of the heat dissipated by the plastically deformed crystals and the volume of crystals destroyed under the indenter.
