Accelerate micromagnetic simulations with GPU programming in MATLAB

open access: yesCoRR, 2015
A finite-difference Micromagnetic simulation code written in MATLAB is presented with Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) acceleration. The high performance of Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is demonstrated compared to a typical Central Processing Unit (CPU) based code. The speed-up of GPU to CPU is shown to be greater than 30 for problems with larger sizes

Tunable domain wall pinning behavior by notch geometry in CoFeB nanostrip under nano-pulse current injection

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science
To optimally control the domain wall (DW) pinning behavior in the ferromagnetic nanostrip, some focus is on utilizing a geometrical notch as an artificial pinning potential.

Micromagnetic simulation of Nd–Fe–B grain with a dysprosium-containing shell

open access: yesAIP Advances
The effects of Dy-doped shell thickness on the magnetic properties and magnetization reversal behavior of a Nd–Fe–B grain have been systematically investigated using micromagnetic simulations based on a core–shell model.

Micromagnetic simulations of magnetoelastic heterostructures

open access: yes, 2018
The system formed by a 10 nm thin film of Ni and a 10 μm-thick V2O3 layer shows a reversible enhancement of the coercivity (∼300%) due to the structural phase transition (metal/insulator) of the V2O3layer. Performing micromagnetic simulations and comparing the results with experimental data we have studied the coupling mechanism on the Ni/V2O3 ...
