AbstractIn this chapter we report the progress made in using full-scale micromagnetic simulations for the understanding of the fundamentals of magnetic SANS. These studies take into account the nonlinearity of Brown's static equations of micromagnetics.

Full Micromagnetic Numerical Simulations of Thermal Fluctuations [PDF]
Thermal fluctuations for fine ferromagnetic particles are studied with the full micromagnetic analysis based on numerical integration of the spatially discretized Langevin-Landau-Lifshitz equation. These results can be used as a basis for the formulation of a standard problem to test the implementation of thermal fluctuations in numerical micromagnetic

MICROMAGNETIC SIMULATIONS AND APPLICATIONS
Scattering and Biomedical Engineering, 2002The development of advanced magnetic materials requires a precise understanding of the magnetic behavior. A prominent example are magnetic recording systems with an areal density exceeding 100 Gbit/in2, where both recording medium and recording heads have to meet certain characteristics [1].

Micromagnetic Simulations in Magnonics
2012We review the use of numerical micromagnetic simulations (“micromagnetics”) for investigations in magnonics, the study of spin waves and their quanta – magnons. We argue that, when used with suitable post-processing tools, micromagnetics provide the power and flexibility necessary both for interpretation of complex magnonic phenomena observed in ...

Micromagnetic simulation of iron nanorings
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2005Abstract We performed a systematic study of the magnetic properties of iron nanorings with 80 nm external diameter varying the thickness in the framework of micromagnetic theory. Hysteresis loops were determined in an applied magnetic field ranging from −800 to 800 mT. The behavior of coercive field as a function of the ratio of the inner d

Micromagnetic recording process simulation
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1987A dynamic model is introduced for simulating the magnetic recording process. This model has high spatial (particulate level) and temporal ( \sim10^{-9} second) resolution. The theory includes head saturation, image charge, particle magnetostatic interaction, and particle anisotropy. Several applications to barium ferrite media are presented.
