A constitutive modelling framework for applications to in vivo longitudinal data: Evaluation in a 60‐day head‐down bed rest study on arterial function

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend We proposed a computational constitutive modelling framework that leverages longitudinal acquisitions of haemodynamic waveforms at multiple arterial locations to achieve a biomechanical characterisation of their (micro)structural remodelling processes.

Modeling of the Visco‐Plastic Compaction Behavior of Crushed Salt Based on Micromechanical Deformation Mechanisms

open access: yesProceedings in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Volume 26, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Using crushed salt as a backfilling material for sealing radioactive waste repositories within rock salt formations has many advantages, particularly its compositional similarity to the host rock and the fact that it is derived from the mining process.

Enhancing Corrosion Resistance and Mechanical Strength of 3D‐Printed Iron Polylactic Acid for Marine Applications via Laser Surface Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 9, 6 May 2026.
Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.

Minimally Invasive Cantilever RBFPD Using a 270‐Degree Veneer Abutment in a Young Cleft Patient: A Clinical Adhesive Technique

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Adhesive cantilever resin‐bonded bridges (RBBs) are a minimally invasive option for replacing maxillary lateral incisors in young cleft patients, in whom implant placement is often delayed until completion of craniofacial growth or declined due to surgical burden. Beyond material selection, the outcome depends critically on abutment design and
