Exometaboliţi de micromicete - stimulatori de creştere a plantelor
It was demonstrated the possibility of using the micromycetes exometabolites of the Penicillium gender as growth promoters for triticales. It was established that the exometabolites of the Penicillium sp.65 strain stimulate seeds germination, triticales rootless and cotyledons growth .

Proprietăţi antifungice ale unor micromicete din genul Penicillium
It has been shown that strains of Penicillium exhibit antifungal activity against a large spectrum of phytopathogens. The studied strains manifested more active to Alternaria alternata, Stemphylium botryosum, Tieloviopsis basicola and Fusarium solani. The diameter of the zone of inhibition of the referred phytopathogens ranging from 20-35mm.
