A Micromixer Based Upon Buoyancy

open access: yesFluids Engineering, 2005
A novel micromixer is presented which may be thermally controlled to allow for the enhanced mixing of different species at the microscale. Numerical simulations are presented which demonstrate the operation of the design and methodologies for the generation of different microfluidic structures to enhance mixing at the microscale.
