Significance of double diffusion for unsteady Carreau micropolar nanofluid transportation across an extending sheet with thermo-radiation and uniform heat source

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering, 2021
The main objective of this manuscript is to glance into the assets of nanoparticles in the stream of generalized micropolar fluid and Carreau fluid against an intensified elongated surface. In order to assess, the heat and mass diffusion occurrences, the

Two‐Phase Nanofluid Flow in a Non‐Newtonian Model Past a Deformable Sheet With Magnetized Environmental Effects: Statistical Modeling and ANOVA Analysis

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper presents a comprehensive numerical analysis of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Casson nanofluid movement over a permeable, linearly stretching sheet, integrating the contributions of non‐uniform heat generation or absorption and chemical interaction.

Effect of Peripheral Layer on Peristaltic Transport of a Micropolar Fluid

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2009
Peristaltic transport of two fluid model with micropolar fluid in the core region and Newtonian fluid in the peripheral layer is studied under the assumptions of long wavelength and low Reynolds number.

Anticlastic Curvature and Material Freedom

open access: yesphysica status solidi (b), EarlyView.
Anticlastic curvature occurs in bent bars for positive Poisson's ratio; synclastic curvature occurs for negative Poisson's ratio provided the material is homogeneous and elastic. Some planar negative Poisson's ratio materials exhibit anticlastic saddle curvature rather than convex curvature in bending due to effects of 3D structure.

MHD micropolar hybrid nanofluid flow over a flat surface subject to mixed convection and thermal radiation

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
Hybrid nanofluids play a significant role in the advancement of thermal characteristics of pure fluids both at experimental and industrial levels. This work explores the mixed convective MHD micropolar hybrid nanofluid flow past a flat surface.

On micropolar fluid theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
New fundamental solutions for an incompressible micropolar fluid have been obtained in an explicit form by considering a three-dimensional Oseen flow due to a point force and a point couple. Fundamental solutions that do not exist in classical flows have also emerged in this study owning to the existence of the microrotation velocity field in a ...

Algebraic Multigrid Based Preconditioning Approaches for Generalized Continuum Models and Indirect Displacement Control Techniques

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 127, Issue 6, 30 March 2026.
ABSTRACT The contribution deals with algebraic multigrid (AMG) based preconditioning methods for the iterative solution of a coupled linear system of equations arising in numerical simulations of failure of quasi‐brittle materials using generalized continuum approaches.

Exact controllability of Galerkin’s approximations of micropolar fluids [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 2009
We consider the nonlinear model describing micropolar fluid in a bounded smooth region of R N ( N = 2 , 3 ) \mathbb {R}^{N} (N=2,3) with distributed controls supported in small subset of this domain.
