Micropolar Fluids with Vanishing Viscosity [PDF]
A study of the convergence of weak solutions of the nonstationary micropolar fluids, in bounded domains of āš, when the viscosities tend to zero, is established. In the limit, a fluid governed by an Euler-like system is found.

This article studies the 3D incompressible micropolar fluids with rapidly oscillating terms. The authors prove that the trajectory statistical solutions of the oscillating fluids converge to that of the homogenized fluids provided that the oscillating ...

Unsteady flows of micropolar fluids parallel to the axis of an annular domain with a porous layer
Transient flows of micropolar fluids through circular domains are investigated. The flow domain has two annular regions. The outer region is clean, while the inner region contains a porous medium.

Turbulence Intensity Modulation by Micropolar Fluids
Fluid microstructure nature has a direct effect on turbulence enhancement or attenuation. Certain classes of fluids, such as polymers, tend to reduce turbulence intensity, while others, like dense suspensions, present the opposite results.

The problem considered in this paper is a steady micropolar fluid flow in porous media between two plates. This model can be used to describe the flow of some types of fluids with microstructures, such as human and animal blood, muddy water, colloidal ...

Micropolar fluids commonly represent the complex fluids with microstructure, for example, animal blood and liquid crystals. To understand the behavior of micropolar fluids and the role of micropolar parameters, different micropolar fluids models were ...

MHD micropolar fluid flow in porous media
The analysis of mass and heat transfer in magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flows has significant applications in heat exchangers, cooling nuclear reactors, designing energy systems and casting and injection processes of different types of fluids.

This article demonstrates a mathematical model and theoretical analysis of the Micropolar fluid in the reverse roll coating process. It is important because micropolar fluids account for the microstructure and microrotation of particles within the fluid.

Blowup criterion for viscous, compressible micropolar fluids with vacuum
We prove that the maximum norm of velocity gradients controls the possible breakdown of smooth (strong) solutions for the 3-dimensional viscous, compressible micropolar fluids.

Pullback attractors for a class of non-Newtonian micropolar fluids
In this article we study the long time behavior of the two-dimensional flow for non-Newtonian micropolar fluids in bounded smooth domains, in the sense of pullback attractors.
