CFD and ANN–Based Study of Unsteady Convective Heat and Mass Transfer in a Zigzag Enclosure Filled With Hybrid Nanofluid

open access: yesInternational Journal of Energy Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The objective of this work is to analyze the physical properties of a bottom zigzag cavity filled by hybrid nanofluid with a torsionally oscillating lid, using both CFD and ANN approaches. The dimensionless nonlinear governing partial differential equations are solved using the Galerkin weighted residual of the finite element method (FEM).

Energy Transport Analysis of Bioconvective Magnetized Micropolar Fluid Flow Over a Porous Curved Stretching Surface With Homogeneous–Heterogeneous Reactions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Energy Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Efficient energy transport in complex fluids is essential for the optimal design of modern thermal and bio‐energy systems. In this study, the bioconvective flow and heat transfer characteristics of a two‐dimensional, incompressible magnetized micropolar fluid of second‐grade nature over a porous curved stretching surface are investigated.

Feasibility and angular velocity analysis of micropolar nanofluid suction effects

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
The objective of current analysis is to investigate the heat and mass transfer impact driven by permeable for a surface. The flow problem is subject to mass suction effects. The analysis for heat transfer is supported with applications of radiative phenomenon and Dufour effects. The governing equations for flow model is retained into dimensionless farm

Heat transfer enhancement in natural convection in micropolar nanofluids

open access: yesArchives of Mechanics, 2014
In this work an analysis of momentum, angular momentum and heat transfer during unsteady natural convection in micropolar nanofluids is presented. Selected nanofluids treated as single phase fluids, contain small particles. In particular, two ethylene glycol-based nanofluids were analyzed.
