Micropulse laser for persistent optic disc pit maculopathy. A case report

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports, 2018
Purpose: Optic disc pits (ODP) are rare and congenital anomalies of the optic disc, sometimes remaining asymptomatic. However, serous macular detachment or optic disc maculopathy is the most common complication, causing significant visual deterioration ...

Geomagnetic Micropulsations [PDF]

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Physics, 1960
This paper describes simultaneous observations of geomagnetic micropulsations at three places ranging from 280 S. to 51 0 S. geomagnetic latitude. It is shown that there is no observable change in the micropulsation period with latitude although there is a monotonic increase in the amplitude with latitude for all periods between 10 and 100 sec.

Intermediary inflammatory reaction after micropulse cyclophotocoagulation diode therapy: a case report

open access: yesJournal of Medical Case Reports, 2022
Introduction Of the many types of laser cyclophotocoagulation procedures, micropulse cyclophotocoagulation diode is praised as a noninvasive, safe, and effective procedure with few complications. In this case report, we describe a rare complication that,

Adult‐onset Coats disease: A systematic review and meta‐analysis of imaging biomarkers and targeted therapies

open access: yesActa Ophthalmologica, EarlyView.
Abstract Coats disease diagnosed in adulthood is a rare idiopathic retinal telangiectatic vasculopathy that may differ in phenotype from childhood‐diagnosed cases. This systematic review synthesizes current evidence to characterize its clinical spectrum, imaging features, treatment outcomes and underlying mechanisms, with a focus on immunovascular ...

Australian and New Zealand Glaucoma Society (ANZGS) Consensus on Interventional Glaucoma

open access: yesClinical &Experimental Ophthalmology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Traditional reactive ‘wait and see’ approaches in glaucoma management often result in unacceptable rates of permanent vision loss. This consensus defines a proactive ‘interventional glaucoma’ framework tailored for the Australian and New Zealand healthcare context. Methods A modified Delphi consensus process was utilised, consisting
