From Crisis to Response: How Start‐Up Founders Navigate Uncertainty Through Pivoting

open access: yesStrategic Change, Volume 35, Issue 2, Page 257-271, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigates how start‐up founders navigate uncertainty by adopting pivot strategies, emphasizing stakeholders' active role in shaping these entrepreneurial decisions. Drawing on entrepreneurial action theory and the concept of second‐person opportunities, we propose a three‐stage conceptual framework (social interaction and second ...

Data Aggregation in Microservice Architecture

open access: yesInternational Journal of Online and Biomedical Engineering (iJOE), 2019
In a microservice architecture aggregation of data collected from different sources is a common task. Today’s technology trends require us to exchange data that is no longer tabular.  JSON data format has gained popularity among web developers, and has become the main format for exchanging information over the web.

MicroKarta: Visualising Microservice Architectures

open access: yesCompanion Proceedings of the 32nd ACM International Conference on the Foundations of Software Engineering
Conceptualising and debugging a microservice architecture can be a challenge for developers due to the complex topology of inter-service communication, which may only apparent when viewing the architecture as a whole. In this paper, we present MicroKarta, a dashboard containing three types of network diagram that visualise complex microservice ...
