DEFECTED CONCRETE POST DETECTION THROUGH ANTENNA ARRAY COUPLING EFFECT [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science and Technology, 2017
In this paper, a proposed defected concrete post detection system is introduced. The proposed system consists of two compact microstrip broad side antenna arrays resonating at 1 GHz with dimensions of 45 cm by 13.2 cm for each antenna array and a weight ...

Microstrip doubler microwave with non-traditional implementation

open access: yesTekhnologiya i Konstruirovanie v Elektronnoi Apparature, 2019
Frequency multipliers are used in electronic devices to generate spectrally pure sinusoidal signals in the frequency range from a few to tens of GHz. The multipliers are used to multiply the frequency of highly stable but more low-frequency devices with ...

Optimization of aperture coupled microstrip patch antennas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Aperture coupled microstrip patch antennas (ACMPA) are special class of microstrip antennas with high gain and wide impedance bandwidth. These antennas differ from other microstrip antennas with their feeding structure of the radiating patch element ...

Photonic Time Crystals and Time‐Varying Electromagnetic Metamatter: A New Direction for Ultrafast Tunable Photonic and Microwave Materials and Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Photonic time crystals (PTCs) are systems in which electromagnetic parameters are modulated periodically in time, producing momentum bandgaps via temporal scattering rather than spatial Bragg processes. This review examines the theoretical frameworks, modeling, and computational tools for time‐varying media, and summarizes experimental demonstrations ...

Influence of Microcracks on Silver/Polydimethylsiloxane-Based Flexible Microstrip Transmission Lines

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Microcrack is commonly seen as a defect in materials that affects the performance of flexible radio frequency (RF) devices. Here, we investigate the influence of microcracks on the RF characteristics of flexible microstrip by stretching flexible ...

Printable Liquid Metal‐Textiles for Deformation‐Insensitive and Electromagnetically Robust mmWave Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a textile‐compatible, self‐healing liquid metal ink and a dual‐mask printing technique for high‐resolution patterning. Using this approach, we demonstrate high‐performance millimeter‐wave (mmWave) electronic textiles that exhibit exceptional insensitivity to deformation.

Hierarchical Reconfigurable Metasurface Based on Scenario‐Guided Functional Modules and Programmable Core

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper proposes a hierarchical reconfigurable metasurface architecture (HRMA) to achieve comprehensive electromagnetic parameter modulation and on‐demand polymorphic function switching. The reconfigurable metasurface is divided into a programmable core (PC) and scenario‐guided functional modules (FMs), exhibiting significant flexibility and ...
