Breaking the challenge of signal integrity using time-domain spoof surface plasmon polaritons

open access: yes, 2015
In modern integrated circuits and wireless communication systems/devices, three key features need to be solved simultaneously to reach higher performance and more compact size: signal integrity, interference suppression, and miniaturization. However, the

Novel microstrip bandstop filter

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1977
A microstrip bandstop filter is described that overcomes the problems of radiation and surface-wave generation at high frequencies (40 GHz). An attenuation greater than 17 dB has been measured over at least a 10% bandwidth. The peak attenuation in the band can exceed 30 dB.

Ultra-wideband bandpass filter using hybrid structure of CPW and microstrip

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong, 2018
A novel ultra-wideband BPF using hybrid CPW and microstrip structure is proposed in this paper. The middle microstrip is replaced by an interdigital coupled-line to generate a transmission zero at low frequency.

Design of Compact BPF and Planar Diplexer for UMTS using Embedded-scheme Resonator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A compact planar diplexer utilizing embedded-scheme resonator (ESR) is designed for universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS). The ESR is formed by embedding interdigital resonators into an open loop resonator.

Filtenna Integration Achieving Ideal Chebyshev Return Losses [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This paper demonstrates that it is possible to find an ideal filter response (Chebyshew, Butterworth,..) considering the antenna as the last resonator of a filter under certain circumstances related with the antenna performance and the bandwidth of the ...

A Method Based on the Theory of Small Reflections to Design Arbitrary Passband Microstrip Filters [PDF]

open access: yesRadioengineering, 2018
A method to design a kind of microstrip filters consisting of only opened stubs and shorted stubs is proposed in this paper. This method is based on the Theory of Small Reflections, and the equations to calculate dimensions of this type of filters is ...

Reflectionless bandpass filter with flat passband, high selectivity, and enhanced out-of-band suppression

open access: yesTongxin xuebao
Currently, the design of reflectionless filters was challenged by insufficient selectivity and insufficient flatness. Therefore, a two-port microstrip reflectionless bandpass filter topology was proposed to provide a reference for addressing these ...
