Optimization of microstrip filters tolerances

The Experience of Designing and Application of CAD Systems in Microelectronics, 2003. CADSM 2003. Proceedings of the 7th International Conference., 2004
The procedure of optimization of microstrip filter tolerances allowing for correlation of member tolerances is proposed. The filters realized on the basis of elements with lumped parameters are considered. The model for calculating tolerances is shaped by mapping transfer functions into the space of interval values.

A Microstrip Nonreciprocal Tunable YIG Filter

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1968
A nonreciprocal tunable YIG filter in a microstrip configuration has been constructed which makes use of a novel method of generating a circularly, polarized field in the plane of a microstrip circuit. Nonreciprocities in excess of 40 dB have been obtained at X band with relatively low insertion loss and VSWR.

Improvements of Microstrip Loop Filters

2007 International Workshop on Anti-Counterfeiting, Security and Identification (ASID), 2007
A miniaturized microstrip open-loop filter with dual-mode and defected ground structure is presented in this paper. The proposed filter has the characteristics of wide stopband, reduced size, and high selectivity. The combination of dual-mode and defected ground structure successfully eliminates the nearest two spurious harmonics.

Microstrip cascade trisection filter

IEEE Microwave and Guided Wave Letters, 1999
A new configuration of odd-degree cascade trisection bandpass filter realized by combining a microstrip hairpin resonator and /spl lambda//2-line open-circuited resonator is proposed. The general asymmetric Chebyshev function is used to synthesize the cascade trisection prototype.

QUASI-ELLIPTIC MICROSTRIP FILTER

Issues of radio electronics, 2019
Currently, modern telecommunication and radio-electronic systems widely use wireless information transmission technologies over the radio channel. Therefore, an urgent task is to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of a large number of simultaneously operating radio facilities using high-selective bandpass filters.

Microstrip Filter with Extended Barrier

2019 Radiation and Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves (RSEMW), 2019
The article describes the method and process of designing a interdigital bandpass filter on two two-stage microstrip resonators. As a result of the design, thanks to the introduction of two steps of different widths into the resonator, it was possible to double the barrier band by suppressing the parasitic bandwidth in the vicinity of the third ...

Coupled microstrip comblines filters

International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, 2007
This paper presents a procedure to design filters using a microstrip combline structure. The combline structure provides a way to reduce the final dimension of the filter. The characteristic impedance and phase constant equations of the combline coupler are derived in terms of impedance and phase constant of the single microstrip coupled lines ...

Current modeling of microstrip filters

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2005
This paper presents the current modeling of microwave filters using only entire-domain basis functions. Two sets of entire-domain basis functions are introduced, and their results are compared with the measurements and with those obtained using subdomain basis functions. It also discusses the evaluation of the matrices using the method of moments (MoM).
