A new neural network technique for the design of multilayered microwave shielded bandpass filters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this work, we propose a novel technique based on neural networks, for the design of microwave filters in shielded printed technology. The technique uses radial basis function neural networks to represent the non linear relations between the quality ...

GPR Antenna Modelling Based on DML Exploiting Cosine Similarity Metric

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The proposed SNN‐KNN‐GPR framework. ABSTRACT Traditional full‐wave electromagnetic simulation software, such as HFSS or CST, requires substantial computational resources and time consumption, as does the construction of surrogate models when acquiring new samples. To overcome this data efficiency challenge, we propose a Data Augmentation (DA) modelling

Time domain analysis of a wideband common-mode suppression filter for bent interconnects [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
A technique to efficiently reduce differential-to-common mode conversion occuring at a bend discontinuity in coupled microstrip lines is investigated. Total signal integrity in the interconnect structure has been improved by minimizing the differential ...

Single ACPW‐Fed Dual‐/Tri‐Band Dual Circularly Polarized Microstrip Antenna for Improvised Explosive Device Detection

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
A compact single asymmetric coplanar waveguide feed (ACPW‐fed) dual circularly polarized microstrip antenna that operates at 1.8, 3.9, and 5.2 GHz in the entire operating frequency band 600 MHz–6 GHz for the radar detection of the improvised explosive devices (IEDs) carried by a person is introduced.

Design of a Highly Efficient and Wideband Power Amplifier With a New Microstrip Low‐Pass Filter

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this letter, a highly efficient and wideband power amplifier (PA) is proposed based on resistive–resistive series of continuous modes (Res‐Res SCMS) with a new microstrip low‐pass filter (LPF). By employing a conventional real‐to‐real impedance transformer, the output and input matching networks are realized by incorporating the transistor′s ...

Soft radio frequency microstrip bandpass filter: Precise design and demonstration

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2023
A soft and tunable microwave bandpass Chebyshev microstrip end-coupled filter is demonstrated on a polydimethylsiloxane substrate based on high electrically conductive composites made of silver nanoparticle-covered flakes, even with large strain.

SAMBA: Superconducting antenna-coupled, multi-frequency, bolometric array [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We present a design for a multipixel, multiband (100 GHz, 200 GHz and 400 GHz) submillimeter instrument: SAMBA (Superconducting Antenna-coupled, Multi-frequency, Bolometric Array). SAMBA uses slot antenna coupled bolometers and microstrip filters.

Dual-mode dual-band microstrip filters

open access: yes2009 European Microwave Conference (EuMC), 2009
A compact dual-band microstrip bandpass filter is proposed using dual-mode resonators. Two microstrip loop resonators, one within the other, are employed to obtain dual-mode dual-band filter responses. Each loop resonator uses two loading elements to excite dual modes.

A Compact Wideband HTS Duplexer Using Dual‐Mode Resonators with Improved Isolation

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
A wideband high‐temperature superconducting (HTS) duplexer is designed and is characteristic of more than 50% fraction bandwidth in its two channels. The duplexer is composed of a linear half‐wavelength resonator and two channels. Each channel is composed of five dual‐mode resonators with the attenuated second harmonic.

A simple transformation of improved WLAN band pass to low pass filter using defected ground structure (DGS), defected microstrip structure (DMS) and multilayer-technique

open access: yesJournal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications
A novel transformation of band pass- to low pass filter is introduced in this paper. First a compact microstrip band pass filter designed, optimized and realized by combining a simple multilayer method with magnetically coupled microstrip U-shaped DGS ...
