Ladder Shape Microstrip Patch Antenna
2018 International Conference on High Performance Computing & Simulation (HPCS), 2018In this paper, a ladder shaped microstrip patch antenna with an average size, suitable for most mobile phones, is proposed. The proposed antenna has a size of 120*50 mm2 for a ladder patch with coaxial cable feeding. It covers a bandwidth of approximately 30 MHz from 685 MHz to 715 MHz that is in the UHF band.

Microstrip Patch Filtering Antenna
2023Nowadays, with the development of wireless communication technology, multifunctional electronic designs are becoming increasingly important. In most electronic designs, the bandpass filter and antenna, which constitute the basic components of the RF front end, are designed separately and connected to each other via the transmission line.

Microstrip Patch Antenna Temperature Sensor
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2015The resonant frequencies of a microstrip patch antenna are dependent on the dielectric constant of its substrate and the physical dimensions of its radiation patch. Both of these parameters are temperature-dependent. In this paper, we investigated the effects of temperature on the antenna resonant frequencies for the purpose of studying the microstrip ...

Dual-Band Microstrip Patch Antenna
2005 IEEE International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation and EMC Technologies for Wireless Communications, 2006The purpose of this paper is to develop the microstrip patch designed for dual frequencies of 945 MHz and 1960 MHz. A new design of coplanar patches to get the dual band operation is proposed in this paper. It is a multiple patch approach for getting dual frequency operation with a single feed point.

Electronically tunable microstrip patch antennas
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. 1998 Digest. Antennas: Gateways to the Global Network. Held in conjunction with: USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting (Cat. No.98CH36194), 2002This paper presents the performance of a varactor loaded, probe-fed microstrip patch antenna. An effective impedance bandwidth of 50% is achieved centred around a frequency of 2.20 GHz. The simple transmission line model is used to predict the resonant frequency, and practical results obtained showed a good agreement between the predicted and measured ...

Inset feed microstrip patch antenna
2015 International Conference on Computer, Communication and Control (IC4), 2015A rectangular slot Micro strip Patch Antenna is designed with frequency ranging from 3 GHz to 12GHz with dual band function with its one band from 5–8.7 GHz frequency range and bandwidth of 3.7 GHz (calculated below −10dB) and another band operating on frequency range from 9.4–12GHz with bandwidth of 2.6 GHz (calculated below −10dB). Former is used for

Microstrip Patch Antenna: A Review
2017Technology is getting advanced day by day. Antennas used in earlier days were generally larger in size. Now days in most of the applications, larger antennas are replaced by patch antennas. There are different shapes of patch antennas like triangular, circular, rectangular, fractal, etc.

Novel Microstrip Circular Patch Antennas
24th European Microwave Conference, 1994, 1994Two new microstrip circular patches excited by a microstrip trarsmission line through an inserted coplanar section are presented. The integral equation for the unknown currents on the atenna and its feeding line is solved by the method of moments in which, the triangular subdomains discretization is employed.

Compact broadband microstrip patch antennas
2007 National Radio Science Conference, 2007We introduce microstrip patch antennas of simple shapes which can exhibit broadband operation and still enjoy relatively compact size. The circular and rectangular patches are considered when shorted to the ground plane via one or two shorting pins.

Frequency agile microstrip patch antenna
International Journal of Electronics, 1998A rectangular patch loaded with shorting posts as well as varactor diodes was investigated theoretically using a Modal Expansion Cavity Model, with a view to predicting the obtainable tuning range and its effect on the radiation characteristics of the antenna.
